Common
Questions

How does the process work?

Every project starts with a discovery call to understand your goals, audience, and vision. From there I put together a creative treatment and quote. Once approved, we move into pre-production — location scouts, casting, shot lists — before the shoot, edit, and final delivery. You're involved at every stage, not just the beginning and the end.

What's the typical turnaround time?

It depends on the complexity of the project. A social-first commercial can be turned around in 2–3 weeks from shoot date. A corporate profile film typically takes 4–6 weeks. Documentary commissions are scoped individually. I'll always give you a realistic timeline upfront — I'd rather be honest than overpromise.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?

Absolutely. I've filmed in over 40 countries and work with international clients regularly. Travel costs are built into the project budget and I'm experienced with the logistics of remote or international shoots. I'm equally comfortable on a rooftop in Marrakech as I am in a studio in Shoreditch.

Can you handle the full production — crew, equipment, locations?

Yes — full end-to-end production is my default offering. I have a trusted network of DPs, sound recordists, gaffers, production designers, and post-production specialists I bring in depending on the scale of the project. You get one point of contact for everything, with no handoff chaos.

What if I don't have a brief yet?

That's more common than you'd think — and actually one of my favourite situations. If you know you need film content but aren't sure what shape it should take, let's talk. I offer strategy sessions where we work backwards from your business goals to define the right creative approach. Some of my best projects started with "we just know we need a film."

How do you handle revisions?

All projects include two rounds of revisions in the edit stage. Additional rounds can be added to the budget if needed. In practice, good pre-production means we rarely need more than two — because we've already agreed on the vision before a single frame is shot.
